Product Uses: Trichloroethylene is an excellent solvent, used as a metal surface treatment agent, a cleaner before electroplating and painting, a degreasing agent for metals, and an extractor for fats, oils, and wax. It's also used in organic synthesis and pesticide production. Trichloroethylene is used to produce tetrachloroethylene, which can act as an anthelmintic; it is also used to produce hexachloroethane for veterinary anthelmintics to prevent and treat liver fluke disease and stomach fluke disease in ruminants, as well as tapeworm and nematode infestations.
